Review: The 2013 BMW 328i Series, not quite the sporty 3 Series we were expecting

I remember once reading in another recent BMW review that a person criticizing a car was brave enough to say: “BMW is the new Mercedes-Benz.” Now I’m not going to call anyone specifically, but in my heart a German car enthusiast and lover of both brands, my denial was expressed as: “WTF, how can anyone say something so blasphemous?”

It’s blasphemous, because there was always a certain line that separated the Three-Pointed Star from the Rundel. Their differences in corporate philosophy are obvious, and in no case can anyone confuse them. Both can be used in one sentence, different from comparing their differences – despite the fact that they are direct competitors – as blasphemous as saying that “Microsoft is the new Apple.”

Despite the fact that I controlled the last F10 5th series, my denial gradually began to turn into insight, as I completely noticed that the new F10 5th series lost some of its sharp advantage. For me, I came to the conclusion that the 5th series that we tested was too similar to the 7th series and not enough, like the 3rd series, as always. And without the sporting advantage of BMW, which has been distinguishing the brand among its direct competitors for almost half a century, how can one expect a car to go to the rhythm of its own drum if you remove the key component for which claims were made? glory first?
