At a time when things like carbon footprints and mpg ratings grabbed our automotive blogger brain, Mercedes-Benz turned to me to test drive the new 2012 ML63 AMG in Santa Barbara. Wanting to escape from the cold weather in the northeast, I accepted their offer and packed my things for Kali.
Exterior:
The 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG is based on the new 2012 ML-Class, which I personally think is a very sophisticated looking SUV. Many on the QuickSnap Auto Parts team agree, and think Mercedes-Benz did a hell of a job redesigning its best-selling family hauler.
To give the ML-Class a sophisticated look to this AMG variant, AMG designers added a new radiator grille with glossy louvres, enlarged air intakes for cooling and equipped the bottom with a new front skirt finished in matt silver. The end. The team also equipped the SUV with a large set of AMG alloy wheels and put on the AMG rear skirt highlighted in black diffuser. Two sets of chromed dual tailpipes that enhance the ML63 AMG 8-cylinder sound complement the sophistication of the “standard” ML class, turning it into a high-performance SUV.
