The 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid gets updated with some mid-cycle changes

Honda officially announced all the details of the 2017 Accord Hybrid sedan after it took a break for one year. Now it’s back and better than ever, as well as new and improved!

So what’s new for the 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid?

In addition to the usual external and internal visual changes, the new Accord Hybrid receives Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as a standard. The transmission has also been refined to provide more power and slightly improved fuel efficiency. The entire system has also been refined to provide full EV capabilities for short distances and light gas modes.

Motivation is the Atkinson-Cycle 2.0-liter four-stroke engine, coupled with a hybrid dual-engine setup, resulting in 212 hp. Fuel economy ratings are tied to 49 city / 47 highway / 48 combined mpg.

This means the 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid is more powerful than the Toyota Camry Hybrid and Ford Fusion Hybrid. It is also more powerful than both.
