The new Ford GT specs are out and it’s officially the fastest Ford ever made

But, believe it or not, two years have passed since the GT was opened. Now Ford has finally published the official serial number of the car. And it’s insanely fast.

For starters, how, SAE-certified, 647 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of torque sound?

That sounds great. What does that translate to?

Well, this power is achieved thanks to the all-new 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 that we already knew about. Despite a shortage of two cylinders from the latest Ford GT, the new model produces 97 hp. and 50 lb-ft more torque than the supercharged V8. Not only power is increasing, but also top speed is 216 mph compared to the 205th latest car. This makes it the fastest car ever created by Ford.

The 3.5L EcoBoost V6 is strictly aligned with the new seven-speed PowerShift dual-clutch transmission.

Straight-line performance isn’t the only thing making the new Ford GT fast.

With the new Ford GT Intelligent Active Aerodynamic Systems, the new Ford GT is faster than the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife than the McLaren 675LT and Ferrari 458 Speciale. Active systems consist of various moving air dampers placed throughout the body to actively direct air, all in the name of speed.

In particular, GT did it in just 2: 09.8 minutes, while McLaren managed 2: 10.8, while Ferrari was interesting below, 2: 12.9. They will not be happy about this.
