The 2018 Ford Mustang, this is it, with a new face

Ford interestingly revealed a facelifted 2018 Mustang late in Detroit. And it has a new face.

What’s going on?

Despite the Detroit auto show being held in Detroit earlier this month, Ford introduced an updated Mustang for the 2018 model. But do not expect any major changes … perhaps, with the exception of a new face.

And after getting into the network, it was immediately met with a mixed trick. This is at the top of the already love-hate test surrounding the current Mustang design.

The entire latest 2018 Ford Mustang remains relatively the same as the current model. But the front end looks much smoother thanks to the thinner headlights and grille.

In addition to the new face, integral changes are minimal. But there are still revisions. For example, a cluster of sensors becomes a 12-inch digital display instead of analog sensors.

The engines remain the same, although Ford, unfortunately, called the abandonment of a model with a V6 engine, ending a long tradition as an entry-level option. It is replaced by a 2.3L inline-four turbocharged EcoBoost that is calibrated to offer lower torque and a flatter power range. Official power ratings for the latest 2.3L EcoBoost are not yet available. The famous 5.0L also returns without problems, and also undergoes various modifications to optimize power supply.

Although the V6 has been the main joke for the famous muscle car for many years, it has established itself as a worthy performer with many changes over time. 3.7L V6 resigns, its rated power at initial powers reached 300 hp. and 280 lb-ft of torque. The current 2.3L EcoBoost turbo-four produces more power at 310 hp. and 320 lb-ft of torque, making the V6 obsolete. Although we knew that anyway, when the 2.3L version appeared.
