The Mazda MX-5 Miata is undoubtedly a popular car and has existed since it was introduced 27 years ago. Now, after almost three decades, Mazda has officially unveiled its millionth example, marking a huge point in the history of the car.
Despite the fact that Miata is popular, it is still a very niche car, and thus it clearly fades compared to large sales giants such as Toyota Corolla, with more than 40 million cars sold. Relatively speaking, however, from the point of view of niche vehicles, this is still an impressive feat.
The Mazda MX-5 Miata was first able to gain popularity and conquer the world by storm in 1989. It has become the choice for the beginner and even the professional level of motorsport, as well as for those who want a fun, lightweight convertible with rear-wheel drive. Not to mention the fact that Miata helps to understand that driving a slow car is certainly fun, and power is not everything.
