The 2017 Lincoln MKC receives some minor equipment changes

Lincoln is redoing a bit how they offer the MKC crossover for sale, especially considering how it is packaged and what options come with what.

However, from the 2017 model year, these changes are coming, such as the standardization of automatic stop / start on the base model of front-wheel drive, and, fortunately, it is optional for an all-wheel drive car.

In addition to this inconvenience, Lincoln has updated Ford’s SYNC 3 infotainment system with the coveted integration of Apple Car Play and Android Auto.

And that’s about it, as the MKC still comes with the same choice of a 2.0L or 2.3L EcoBoost four-engine with a six-speed automatic transmission. 2.0L can have front-wheel or all-wheel drive, while 2.3L comes with all-wheel drive only.

Expect 240 bhp and 270 lb-ft of torque for the 2.0, while the 2.3 replaces the V6 nicely with 285 hp. and 305 lb-ft.
