SUBARU

Subaru of America, Inc (SOA) or Subaru, as we know, is a US subsidiary of the United States sales and marketing company Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) in Japan. In other words, FHI is a Japanese parent company, and Subaru is an American brand. Subaru was founded in 1968, while FHI has existed since 1917. The well-known brand and image of Subaru are synonymous with everything related to rally cars, sports cars and (all-terrain vehicles) or ATVs. Subaru currently has many models on the car market that cater for all classes, from 5-door hatchbacks to sleek and sporty sedans and muscular SUVs. Subaru has a unique image in the automotive world, mainly due to its two innovative innovations: Boxer engine and symmetrical (all-wheel drive) all-wheel drive technology. Subaru is a pioneer of these formats, and for this reason, fans of sports cars and rally cars around the world appreciate Subaru. The operation of the Subaru Impreza WRX at the World Rally Championship only strengthened Subaru’s reputation in the automotive market. Subaru currently has the following models in the US:

IMPREZA Based on the Subaru Loyale, the Impreza is currently available as a sports all-wheel drive (5-door) hatchback, as well as a sports coupe. Powered by the world famous Boxer engine, Impreza is currently available in 2.5 liter models called Impreza Premium, Impreza Outback and Impreza GT. IMPREZA WRX

The new and improved Impreza WRX is a turbocharged version of the Subaru Impreza. Impreza WRX is available as a sedan, station wagon, as well as a sports hatchback. The Impreza WRX is powered by a 2.5-liter Boxer turbocharged intercooled engine, which is known for being used in the World Rally Championships. Impreza WRX is currently available in three 2.5-liter versions, namely; Impreza WRX, Impreza WRX Premium and Impreza WRX STI.  Legacy

Legacy was named Subaru’s flagship model. This iconic Legacy design has a worldwide appeal and has inspired almost all Subaru models in one way or another. Introduced in 1999, Legacy is one of the best-selling Subaru models in the world. The fifth generation Legacy, that is, the current Legacy, contains two engine options, namely; The 2.5-liter Flat-4 engine and the 3.6-liter Flat-6 engine. Legacy is also available on GT, Premium and Limited models. OUTBACK

Subaru Outback – Wagon cum SUV crossover based on the Subaru Legacy format. It has the same engine options as Legacy, but has some additional features such as payload, CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) and VDC (Vehicle Dynamics Control). Outback is also available in Outback Sport and Outback Premium models. FORESTER

The Subaru Forester is a crossover compact SUV manufactured by Subaru since 1997. The tall and voluminous design of the Forester includes the 2.5-liter DOHC DOXC four-cylinder engine, as well as all off-road capabilities, including four-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. making it a prominent SUV in most markets. The fifth generation modern or Forester is available in Limited and Premium models. TRIBECA

The Tribeca is an attractive mid-size crossover based on the Subaru Legacy platform that has received many awards for its award-winning design and high-quality specifications. Along with all the features of an SUV, it features a very powerful 3.6-liter DOHC Boxer engine. Tribeca is available in three models, namely; Tribeca Limited, Tribeca Premium and Tribeca Touring. Baja

Subaru Baja (pronounced Ba-Ha) was produced from 2002 to 2006 as a four-door sedan, as well as a light pickup truck. Two options allowed us to create an improved version, which we now call the Subaru Outback. Baja used the 2.5-liter DOHC engine, which was modified and used at Outback as a Boxer engine with a flat 4-cylinder. Baja’s perfect one-piece design allowed it to be used as a sedan, as well as a pickup truck with the latest version, successfully conceptualized into a rally truck or truck (truck + buggy). LOYALE / LEONE

Loyale or Leone were a compact coupe, which later turned into a sedan, and much later – into a station wagon. It was in production from 1971 to 1994 with engine options of 1.6 liters and a volume of 1.8 liters. The 1.8-liter Leone was also used at the World Rally Championship. The design of Leone or Loyale was later replaced by the Subaru Legacy. Justy

Subaru Justy is a compact hatchback that has been produced since 1984 around the world under the brands of various manufacturers. In the United States, Justy’s work ceased in 1994, while in other parts of the world it is still being produced. Justy was powered by a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder Subaru EF engine in the United States. In other parts of the world, Justi is also known as Subaru Tutto, Suzuki Cultus, Suzuki Ignis, Toyota Passo and Daihatsu Boon. PASS SVX

The Subaru SVX was a mid-size GT coupe that was produced from 1991 to 1997. This was Subaru’s first attempt to enter the luxury / high performance car market. The Subaru SVX was known for its unconventional window-to-window design or glass-to-glass canopy, inspired by the design of the aircraft. The SVX was an upgrade to the existing 2-door Subaru XT model and was powered by a 3.3-liter EG33 flat-6 engine. XT

Subaru XT was a two-door sports coupe, which was produced from 1985 to 1991, before it was replaced by an improved Subaru SVX. The XT was available with both four-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The XT was equipped with a 1.8-liter H4 engine, which was subsequently replaced by a 2.7-liter H6 engine in the XT6. The XT was known for its wedge-shaped aerodynamic body and airplane-style cockpit.
