Used Leaf Spring For Honda

Leaf springs are a basic type of suspension consisting of layers of steel of various sizes etched together. Most of the leaf spring arrangements has elliptical shaped. The steel is usually separate into a rectangular sections and then fastened with metal clips at both ends and large screws along the center of the leaf.

The elasticity of the steel springs allows the flexibility of the suspension to achieve the comfort and control of the moving car, and the spring spring arrangement has proven to be a viable option for cars over the years, even now found in HGV and Military vehicles.

Due to the numerous layers of metal attached together, the flexible leaves provide ideal support between the wheels, axle and chassis of the car.

Moisture in a car can be a very important factor. If the suspension is not wet enough, the car will turn around and bounce off after hitting bumps or potholes. This is a significant feature of cars that use helical springs before starting vacuum cleaners and do not benefit the car while driving at any speed.

The leaf springs handle the moisture of the vehicle much better, due to the friction between each steel sheet, because the subsequent response to the vertical bending of the suspension is much faster, making the car much faster.
