The Ford F-150 diesel engine comes from Jaguar-Land Rover

What’s going on?

Once Buick was a car manufacturer, from whom you least expected to produce anything, even remotely resembling a characteristic “sports”. But GM’s Tri-Shield is working very hard to make sure that we forget about those turbulent years of Buick. Helping to ruin this reputation is the new 2018 Buick Regal GS.

At a specially organized media event in Michigan dedicated to the Regal and Regal TourX standard, Buick decided to surprise her guests with the press by opening the much-anticipated version. It follows the previous Regal GS with the beautiful new body of the latest Regal, along with not four, but six naturally aspirated cylinders and all-wheel drive as standard.

We would agree! The latest Buick Regal has already teased our appetites with its beautiful design and new packaging. The performance-oriented Regal GS appeals to us even more, because we did not think that they really would. The latest Regal GS, although valiant, felt unfinished and incomplete due to its husky, turbocharged four. Now that this is decided, the latest Regal GS has really caught our attention.

What does he work from?

These ruthless four turbocharged ones, as well as the familiar GM 3.6L V6 with 310 horsepower and 282 lb-ft of torque with cylinder shut-off and automatic stop / start, are a thing of the past. Directing this power to a dual-clutch all-wheel drive system is the new nine-speed automatic transmission.
