Jaguar will stop building beautiful wagons because nobody’s buying them

Europe reports that Jaguar will try to justify any future plans for the production of any awesome magnificent wagons simply because no one is buying them. In addition, the arrival of the F Pace, the world’s first crossover, effectively leaves the station wagon dead and destroys any business case worthy of storage.

And it’s a little sad because we like cars here.

Europe spoke with Jaguar chief designer Jan Callum, who even admitted that the wagon market is “shrinking”.

Currently, Germany is their largest market for wagons in Europe, where the Germans, despite the love of wagons, prefer to buy their domestic brands for long roofs.

The latest Jaguar station wagon will officially become the outgoing XF generation.
